BEST PLACES TO WORK 2013

February 2013

For the second year in a row, Florida Peninsula is named one of South Florida’s Best Places to Work in 2013. This recognition is based on the anonymous surveys submitted by our staff responding to questions regarding salary, benefits and special incentives offered by our company.

Florida Peninsula Insurance Company is one of the unique places to offer it’s employees 100% payment of their health care insurance premium.

The company’s owners and board members feel it is important to treat their staff with dignity and respect in order to produce a more efficient and happier work place.

FLORIDA PENINSULA STAFF LEARNS CPR

February 2013

The health of our employees is the number 1 priority at Florida Peninsula Insurance Company. As such, the company hosted two CPR training sessions to educate their staff on the safety and proper methods of CPR. In addition, Florida Peninsula purchased a heart defibrillator and educated their staff on the use of this life saving device.

Hopefully the opportunity will never arise when a staff member has an emergency and is in need of these lifesaving devices, however, if so, our staff is ready.

Training and apparatus was provided by One Beat CPR. Visit their website at http://www.onebeatcpr.com/ to find out how you can obtain CPR training and certification or contact your local American Red Cross at http://www.redcross.org/index.jsp. Some cities also offer CPR classes free of charge, check with your local government offices.
