Everything went good with the process. The final check took longer to get than the first two. I still don't understand why there was any kind of deduction for "non-recoverable depreciation" when my policy clearly stated actual cash value.

This is the first time I have ever put in a claim for my home in Florida where I have lived for 17 years. I had no idea what to expect. Today I received a letter giving me a settlement number which I believe will allow me to repair the damage with no problems.
