Automakers have expanded their recall of cars and trucks containing Takata air bags. Vehicles are being recalled to replace air bag inflators which can explode with too much force, causing shrapnel to fly into the passenger seat. Due to this issue, more than 100 people have been injured, and six have been killed. They have recalled 34 million inflators, making this the largest auto recall in U.S. history.

Affected automakers include: Acura, BMW, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge/Ram, Ford, GMC, Honda, Infiniti, Lexus, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Pontiac, Saab, Subaru and Toyota.
