Florida Peninsula Insurance Company and its “Florida Peninsula Gives Back” team recently donated sanitary supplies to the second grade class at J. C. Mitchell Elementary School in Boca Raton. The team also donated binders for the school’s reading program, along with a subscription to Highlights for the students. The program aims to create lifelong readers and to teach children how to implement reading into their everyday lives.

For several school years, Florida Peninsula has made a commitment to support education. Last year, the company donated 200 backpacks filled with school supplies to Diamond View Elementary School in Greenacres.

Florida Peninsula has also worked with the Head Start Program at C. Robert Markham Elementary School to “adopt” students and their families. Through the years they have provided Thanksgiving dinner, Christmas presents and Easter baskets through donations from company employees.
