Today we celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr's Birthday.  We are celebrating a man who gave his life to liberty and equality under the law, through nonviolent protest with love, faith, determination and fearless representation. Not only did he fight for equal rights but he fought against poverty, opposed the war in Vietnam, and fought for a world where young Americans of all colors and ages would be able to follow their dreams.

His actions taught each of us we have the power to impact the country with a simple message of peace and love through nonviolent protest.
There may never be another Martin Luther King Jr., but because of his great sacrifice, there will always be hope.
Happy Birthday Dr. King.
