On March 21, 2014, Florida Peninsula Insurance Company hosted its 2nd Annual Fraud Conference in Boca Raton, FL. Members of law enforcement such as
Laura Uriate, Statewide Prosecutor from Miami-Dade;
Charles Toledo, Detective with State Fire Marshal; and
Colonel Simon Blank, Director of Insurance Fraud
together with members of the legal profession such as
Maria Abate, Attorney at Law from Colodny Fass Talenfeld, Karlinsky & Abate Law Firm
Gina Clausen Losier, Attorney at Law and Roland V Bernal from Groelle & Salmon Law Office
as well as industry experts spoke at this year's Fraud Conference to educate all those in attendance on the latest fraud trends, advise on how to report fraud to the State and what to look out for when claims are received.
Florida Peninsula Insurance Company believes in paying claims in a just and fair manner, while we striving to fight fraud as it is the leading cause of continued premium increases throughout the State of Florida.
